Bolton's been a Fairtrade town since March 2003. All products which carry the FAIRTRADE Mark guarantee that the producers in developing nations have received a price which covers the cost of production, and an added premium, which they are able to use to improve health, educational and community facilities in their towns and villages.

Whatever the retailer charge, if you see the FAIRTRADE Mark on a product, you know that the producers have been paid a fair amount for their work.
